Nothing Much Else Happened: October 10, 1978

Today was the opening day of the World Series, but before I tell you about the game, let me tell you about what the main talk at school is about — or have I already told you? Yes, I have — the World Series! Teachers have declared (or at least most teachers) that this is not a homework night. This is for 2 reasons:
1) the teachers wanted to stay home and watch without having to worry about school.
2) same with us.
By the way, the Dodgers got off to a great start by capsizing the Yankees, 11-5.

What's this all about? This is what it's all about.
