Nothing Much Else Happened: June 11, 1978

Today the Dodgers wiped out the Montreal Expos, 11-4. They had 21 hits, and that's a new high this year in the National League for hits. Now they will come home, off the most disappointing road trip in 5 years (Won 3, Lost 7). They'll have a 13 game homestand in Los Angeles. I called up Ron Schlessinger today and told him about yesterday's game. He wasn't even there because he had to go to a barmitzvah (?) He was happy to hear that we were not the worst team in the Major League and that we went out on a winning note.
