Nothing Much Else Happened: February 24, 1978

Today, I didn't go to school, except for my period 2 Math class. After I got out of school, Dand and I went to a store and bought Birthday cards for Mom and signed them. And then we sent them off to Mother, who left for Florida this morning. Oh, I forgot to tell you about her departure. Well, it was nothing special. Dad and I got up, took mother to the airport, and dropped her off. Later in the afternoon, our friends, the Richerts came. They are leaving for Africa with their 7-year-old daughter, Janna in the morning.

All punctuation and spelling has been retained precisely as I wrote it 32 years ago at age 12.

This explains why I'm doing this. Maybe.
