Nothing Much Else Happened: May 15, 1978

Today we ha a sort-of-dress rehearsal. Which means, if you had your costume, you would wear it, but you didn't have to, unless you wanted to. (Does that qualify as the longest sentence in this diary?) Every day comes nearer to the last day of school and the last day I will see the Jones'. The Dodgers, even after that close loss yesterday came back with a 7-6 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates. It was a very exciting game, and the Dodgers won it in the bottom of the ninth with three runs. After the game, the Dodgers announced that they were trading Glenn Burke to the Oakland Athletics for outfielder Bill North.
