Nothing Much Else Happened: February 16, 1978

Today I was rather tired. For some reason, I didn't sleep well. I think it's because I had a breath-taking dream last night. It is explained on my "dream" section in the back of this diary. Math was impossible today. So, I brought my math book home, and had dad and Mr. Jones study it to help me. I guess I'll get about 5% of the questions on tomorrow's test. Then, it will be another 3-day weekend, because it will be Washington's Birthday.

Here is the entry in the back of the diary, from the "dream section:"

Feb. 15th: I dreamt that — now, wait a minute. First, let me tell you why I probably dreamt this. You see, I'm reading "Alice In Wonderland" for a school book report. In the beginning of the story, Alice falls down a rabbit hole, and falls for about 30 minutes. I dreamed that Carole, Chris, Mrs. Jones and I were running through this rock maze. We found a cliff, and about 90 feet down, and about 15 feet to the left, there was a pool of red water. It was our only means of escape, so we had to jump. I jumped first, landed squarely in the middle of the pool — and that's when I woke up.
