In short, the two don't mix. And it's too bad, because I have some great stories to tell about the move, about the settling in, about Piper and her New Back Yard®, and about everyday life .... Just the kind of stuff that leaves you hanging on my every word, I'm sure.
But hey, life is so busy now that we don't even have time to celebrate. Father's Day, Laura's and my fifth anniversary, Laura's birthday ... all have been put off until August. Which is okay, since the month doesn't have any other fun holidays anyway. So I hope things calm down soon, and I can settle in to my nice, new office chair and churn off a few hundred words here on a more regular basis.
Until then, imagine me organizing the pantry, weeding our yard, and standing in a mish-mosh of unpacked boxes in our utility room storage area ....
